Create Offers

The offer configuration section in the Console gives users the flexibility to configure various types of offers based on the scheduling type (event-based or date-based) and required behavior (transaction quantity, transaction spend, redemption, or activity-based) they select. Once all sections are completed, the user can save a draft or save and publish the offer. The following steps represent the process for creating an offer:

  1. Select Promotions > Offers. If required, select a business unit in the sub-menu. The Offers page opens.
  2. Click + Offer. The offer builder opens.
  3. Complete these sections in the offer builder:
    • Basics: Specifies the basics of the offer such as the offer's identifiers, its required behaviour, and its reward type.
    • Scheduling: Specifies the offer's scheduling type and its schedule.
    • Behavior: Specifies the offer's transaction type, its behavior category, products to be included in it, and if global product exclusions should apply to it.
    • Rewards: Specifies the offer's reward configuration, if it has tiered rewards, and how it handles employee discounts.
    • Targeting: Specifies how it targets audiences and locations.
    • Activation: Specifies how the offer is activated, its usage limits, rewards caps, and if it can be stacked or not.
    • Copy & Creative: Specifies the offer's headline, descriptions, images, languages, terms, and conditions.
    • Metadata: Specifies the offer's reporting identifiers, its point of sale prompts, and how it's handled by the vendor billing report.
