The ES Loyalty Console

The Console is the central interface for managing your ES Loyalty program. It brings together membership management, promotions, program configuration, data, and reporting into a single, permission-driven workspace — giving marketing teams, program managers, and support staff the tools they need to run an effective loyalty program without switching between systems.

What this guide covers

This guide covers everything in the Console — from everyday tasks like looking up a member or creating an offer, to more advanced workflows like configuring tier rules, managing campaign budgets, and generating custom reports. The documentation is organized to match the Console's menu structure, so you can find what you need quickly regardless of where you are in the product.

Console sections

The menus available in your Console depend on your product configuration and the permissions assigned to your user profile. For ES Loyalty, the full set of possible sections includes:

Membership

Find and manage members, build audiences, and apply AI-generated scoring for targeting and offer personalization.

Promotions

Create offers, banners, and badges. Manage Boost campaigns, offer pools, seed lists, and games if configured.

Program

Configure tiers, expiry rules, and householding to match your program's structure and business requirements.

Data

Manage activity identifiers, reward and redemption data, catalogues, and extended member data.

Insights

Access standard and custom reports. Pin key metrics to your Console homepage using Insights Pulse.

Users

Manage users, groups, and roles. Control who can access which features across your team.

note

Not all sections may be visible in your Console. Menu visibility depends on your product configuration and your user permissions.

Deriving value from the Console

The Console is designed for teams with different roles and objectives. Here is how each area of the product translates into business outcomes.

RoleWhat the Console enables
MarketersBuild targeted offers and campaigns, define audience segments, set up games and banners, and track promotion performance — without developer support.
Program managersConfigure the rules that govern how members earn points, progress through tiers, and redeem rewards, keeping the program aligned with business goals.
Support agentsLook up member accounts, manage point transfers, apply discretionary rewards, and take immediate action on suspected fraud through redemption locks.
AnalystsAccess standard and custom reports, track KPIs over time, and surface the metrics that matter most directly on the Console homepage.
AdminsControl access at a granular level through role-based permissions, ensuring each team member has the right tools — and only those tools.

Gen AI Help

The Console includes a built-in generative AI assistant, accessible from the Help button in the navigation bar. It is trained on Exchange Solutions product documentation and can answer questions about loyalty concepts, feature behavior, configuration steps, and recommended workflows — in plain language, in real time.

What you can ask

Gen AI Help is well-suited to the following types of questions:

  • Feature explanations and definitions
  • Step-by-step configuration walkthroughs
  • Comparisons between features or approaches
  • Best practice guidance for common workflows

Example prompts:

  • "How do I set up a tier-based expiry rule?"
  • "What's the difference between an offer pool and a seed list?"
  • "Walk me through creating a campaign in Boost."
  • "How do I lock a member's redemptions from the Console?"

Tips for better results

  • Be specific. The more context you provide, the more relevant the response.
  • Use the screen you're on as context. Mentioning the feature or menu you're working in helps narrow the answer.
  • Ask follow-up questions. Gen AI Help supports multi-turn conversations — go deeper if the first response doesn't fully address your question.
  • Rephrase if needed. If an answer seems incomplete or off-target, try rephrasing your prompt with more detail.

Online documentation

Full product documentation is available through the Documentation button in the Console's navigation bar. It is organized to mirror the menu structure, making it easy to navigate directly to the feature or workflow you need. A PDF version is also available for offline reference.
