Promotion Summary Report
The Insights menu and Standard Reports or Reports Overview sub-menu are only visible if you have the correct permissions to access reports.
The Promotion Summary report contains two pages: Promotion Summary and Promotion Summary Details. Together they form one of three promotion reports (alongside Promotion Impact and Promotion Details) that track the results of sending promotions to loyalty program members.
The Promotion Summary page provides a summary view of all promotion transactions with completed offers during selected periods. The Promotion Summary Details page lets you create a customized report to analyze campaign and promotion effectiveness, broken down by various dimensions.
This report lets marketers discover, within a selected time period, whether members are engaging with their offers — including the total number targeted, the cost of promotional spend and points issuance, and the impact of offers on revenue (and whether they're creating lift). You can also determine the channels used for offer presentation and completion (such as email, digital app, or non-digital/flyer), where the offer was completed, audience groups (segment or cohort), and which offers were poor performers.
The report includes bonus promotions only (not base promotions).
For more information about specific metrics within this report, see the Loyalty Product Reporting Training Handbook available from your Exchange Solutions representative.

View detailed metrics
To view detailed metrics for a particular promotion dimension on the Promotion Summary Details page:
- Access the Promotion Summary report as described above, then go to the Details By section.
- Click a dimension — such as LTC Indicator (Load to Card), Offer Type, Promo Audience, Reporting Identifier, or All — to view a key metrics breakdown for that dimension at a more detailed level.
- After clicking a dimension, the report navigates automatically to the Promotion Summary Details page.
- Depending on your selection, an additional choice may be available in the Details By section at the top of the page to further refine your results. Once a selection is made, the associated dimension values appear in the KPI Summary section. As on the Promotion Summary page, you can set the Period Type, Period Value, Reporting Period Start Date, and Reporting Period End Date to further refine results.
- The Metric Comparison section provides a detailed comparison across time based on the selected metric and dimension. For example, if the KPI Summary section is filtered to show Activity Offer-Mass only, clicking Offer Completed Members updates the Metric Comparison table to list the number of members who completed offers by different offer types across time. The darker the color (blue), the greater the absolute value.
- To return to the Promotion Summary page, select >>> Go to Promotion Summary.
