Insights Pulse Dashboard
The Insights Pulse sub-menu on the Insights menu is only visible if the Console is configured correctly and you have the correct permissions to access custom Dashboard settings.
You must also have set up some metrics to display. If these conditions are met, the Dashboard appears on the landing page after you log in.

Access settings for Insights Pulse
Navigate to Insights > Insights Pulse or click the +Insights button on the landing page. The Today's Tableau Pulse page opens. See the sections below for carrying out specific tasks.
When you navigate to this page, a notification about the use of generative AI may appear. Read the notification, then click Got It to close it.
If you are already following metrics, AI-generated summary information appears at the top of the page below the title. If you have been following a metric for a while, trend information may also be included.
Click any link in this summary to go to the metric or view more information. This feature uses generative AI. Summaries refresh up to once every 24 hours and may not reflect the current metric status. For new summaries to appear, at least two valid metrics you follow must have changed.
On the left side of the page, two tabs are shown: Following and Browse Metrics.
