Frequency Offer Details Report
The Insights menu and Standard Reports or Report Overview sub-menu are only visible if you have the correct permissions to access reports.
The Frequency Offer Details dashboard provides insights into the overall performance of frequency offers and how easy or difficult it is for members to complete them. The dashboard aggregates frequency offer information based on the promotion start date — all metrics for an offer code are tied to that date.
The Period Value filter lets you search for offer information by promotion start date. All sales, margin, and derived metrics are based on total qualifying sales and margin — meaning any member targeted and making a qualifying purchase against an offer is tracked regardless of whether they complete the offer.
The dashboard provides both a summary and a detailed view of frequency offers based on the selected promotion start date. It shows how far along members are in completing the ask of each frequency offer, captured in five completion percentage ranges:
- 1–25%
- 26–50%
- 51–75%
- 76–99%
- ≥100%

Access the report and using Common Controls
To access the Frequency Offer Details report:
- Navigate to Insights > Reports Overview > Standard Reports.
- Click Promotion > Frequency Offer Details. The Frequency Offer Details report is displayed.
To use the controls on the bottom toolbar, refer to the Common Controls for Reports topic.
Control results in the report
To control the results in the Frequency Offer Details report:

Access the Frequency Offer Details report as described above, then go to the filter section at the top of the page.

Select the applicable Business Unit — one or more business units for analysis.

Choose the Period Type to refine the time periods displayed, such as Fiscal Week or Program to Date. The default is Program to Date. The desired date elements can be selected from the Period Value filter.

Select the Period Value to choose available weeks or other time dimensions based on the Period Type selection. Multiple elements can be selected at once using the Apply button. The dashboard updates to show data for the selected period values.

Choose Promo Start Date and Promo End Date — each supports single or multiple date selections for analysis.

Metrics are shown in the Overall Summary section. Hover over various parts of this section to see additional details. This section shows all sales, margins, and derived metrics based on total qualifying sales and margins. The elements in this section include:
- Participated Members: Members eligible for or participating in completing the offer.
- Promo Eligible Sales: Qualifying product sales eligible for the offer code.
- Promo Eligible $ Value: Qualifying product margin eligible for the offer code.
- Promo Eligible Txns: Transactions where the offer code is applicable.
- Completed Members: Total members who have completed the offer.
- Bonus Points Issued: Bonus points distributed for completing the frequency offer.
- Bonus Points $: Dollar value of bonus points issued for the offers.
- Avg # of Items in Cart: Total eligible sales divided by total eligible transactions.
- Avg Basket Size: Average number of items in the cart divided by total eligible transactions.
- Active Offers: Total frequency offers where members are actively participating.
- Completion Distribution: Donut charts showing the completion percentage distribution for four major KPIs.

In the Offer Type Summary section, the Frequency Offer KPI by Type subsection shows KPI metrics by offer type across different completion percentage bands. Select a value in Metric for color band to highlight metrics within the heat map — the darker the color, the higher the distribution of the selected metric.

In the Offer Type Summary section, the Metric Distribution by Offer Type subsection shows the distribution of members among different types of frequency offers.

Both charts in the Offer Code Summary section are controlled by the offer type (Spend and Txn, Spend Only, or Unit and Txn) selected in the Frequency Offer KPIs chart (by clicking the type in the table or ring chart). The Top 10 Frequency Offer view shows top frequency offers based on the Select Metric filter value, in either Offer Code or Offer Description mode (Select Dimension). The All Offer Code(s) Distribution view shows the distribution of the selected dimension for the selected metric. The available filters for this section are:
- Top N: Changes the number of offer codes shown in the Top 10 Frequency Offer view. The default is 10.
- Select Dimension: Single selection of the dimension for analysis in the Top 10 Frequency Offer and All Offer Code(s) Distribution views.
- Select Metric: Single selection of the metric for analysis in the Top 10 Frequency Offer and All Offer Code(s) Distribution views.

The Frequency Offer Details Summary section provides a detailed metric comparison across time. Metrics are highlighted based on their individual value ranges — the darker the color (red or blue) in the heat map, the greater the absolute value. This section is independent of the other filters; only the filters within this section affect its display:
- Period Type: Sets the time dimension for the report, such as Fiscal Week or Program to Date. The default is Program to Date.
- Period Value: Shows available weeks or other time dimensions based on the Period Type selection.
- Offer Code: Single or multiple offer code selection.
- Offer Description: Single or multiple offer description selection.
- Completion %: Single or multiple completion percentage selection.
The % of Mbrs by completion column in the detailed table represents the distribution of members among different completion percentages within the specific frequency offer.
