Member Details

After you open a member record, Console takes you to the Member details page. Use this page to manage member details, the member’s account, and their card or cards.

Header information

The header shows these details about the member:

  • Card Number or External Identifier: The valid card number, including the Business Identification Number (BIN), or an External Identifier that the client uses to identify the member.
  • Member First Name/Last Name: The member’s first and last name, as provided during registration.
  • Employee Status (some implementations only): Shows Employee for employees and Non-Employee for non-employees. Whether this field appears depends on your Console configuration.
  • Account Status: The current account status (multiple statuses are available).
  • Card Status: The current card status (multiple statuses are available).
  • Registration: How the member registered (for example, Mobile for app registration) and the registration date.
  • Last Activity Date: The date of the most recent activity that affected the rewards balance.
  • Account Balance: The total points earned on the account. Recently added points might not appear immediately because a configurable, time-based hold can apply. If the member is in a household, the label reflect the Household Balance rather than the individual account balance.
  • Available Balance: The points balance minus the configurable, time-based hold applied to newly added points for fraud prevention. For example, points might not be redeemable for 12 hours after they are earned (the interface shows the hold duration). If the member is in a household, the label reflect the Available Household rather than the individual available balance.
  • Redeemable Balance: The total points the member can redeem now. If the member is in a household, the labels reflect the Redeemable Household rather than the individual redeemable balance.
  • Redeemable Value: The currency value of the redeemable points (for example, in dollars).

Actions in the header

You can manage these processes from the right side of the header:

  • Post-Purchase Earn - Award points for a transaction when points couldn’t be awarded at the time of purchase (for example, the member didn’t have their card).
  • Discretionary Credits - Add or remove points from the member’s account at the discretion of the Customer Service Agent (for example, to correct an incorrect award amount).
  • Notes on handling members - Add notes about the member, account, cards, and other interaction details for future reference.
