Audiences

Audiences are groups of members with the same or similar attributes, activities, or affinities. Creating audiences helps marketers reach the goal of creating better-targeted communications and offers, increasing their ability to personalize messages for members.

This feature enables clients to build, discover, explore, analyze, share, export, utilize, and act on different audiences composed of members.

To open the Audiences section of the Console, select Membership > Audiences. If required, select a business unit in the sub-menu. The Audiences page opens.

Once the Audiences page is open, there are two ways to create an audience:

1. Click the + Audience button to open the audience builder, which allows you to build an audience manually using discrete settings for each aspect of the audience.
2. Click the Audience AI button with the icon to open Audience Recommender, which uses a generative AI engine to generate an audience based on a user prompt.

In both cases, when saved and published, the audience is saved to the common list on the Audiences page.

Audiences created using generative AI display an icon next to the name to distinguish them from manually built audiences.
