Members
The features available in your version of Console depend on which features are enabled. Make sure the instructions you follow below are correct for your version (compare the screen capture image to your version to verify).
An agent or marketer can search for a member in the Console by navigating to Membership > Member Search, entering a value, selecting a search type, and clicking Search. This search, including the parameters used, is included in an audit trail so that searches can be reviewed.
Depending on the configuration for your company, you can search for members using one or more of the following criteria:
- Card Number or Email address
- Phone Number
- Account ID or Business Name
- Account or family association or Bill To/Ship To name
- Partner Link ID
If no value is available for selected extended member data (EMD) fields, the response shows "IS NULL" for those fields rather than returning an error.
Finding a Member by Card Number or Email
To search for a member, select Membership > Member Search from the top navigation menu. You can find members by searching on one of the following criteria:
- Card Number: Search on the member's unique card number. Enter the complete card number and click Search.
- Email: Search on the member's unique email address in standard email format. Enter the email address and click Search.
After clicking Search, the information for all matching members is shown in the table on the page. Click anywhere in the row of a specific member record to open the details page for that member.
To clear the search results, click Clear Search.
Finding a Member by Phone Number
To search for a member, select Membership > Member Search from the top navigation menu. You can find members by searching on a phone number.
The display of phone number search depends on your company's requirements and may look different in your Console.
Phone Number: Select the Phone Number option, enter the phone number in the search field, and click Search. As you begin entering the number, it is displayed in the correct format: (aaa) nnn-mmmm. If you search on an incomplete phone number, no results are returned.
After clicking Search, the information for all matching members is shown in the table on the page. Click anywhere in the row of a specific member record to open the details page for that member.
To clear the search results, click Clear Search.
Find a Member by Account ID or Business Name
To search for a member, select Membership > Member Search from the top navigation menu.
The display of member account IDs or business names depends on your company's requirements and may look different in your Console.
You can find a member by searching on one of the following criteria:
- Account ID: Search on the member's unique account identification number. Note that this feature is only available to some clients. Enter the account ID and click Search.
- Business Name: Search on the name of the business associated with the member. This returns all members associated with that business name. Note that this feature is only available to some clients. Enter the business name and click Search.
After clicking Search, the information for all matching members is shown in the table on the page. Click anywhere in the row of a specific member record to open the details page for that member.
To clear the search results, click Clear Search.
Find a Member by Account or Family Association or Bill To/Ship To Affiliation
To search for a member, select Membership > Member Search from the top navigation menu. You can find members by account association by searching on one of the following criteria.
The display of account associations depends on your company's requirements and may look different in your Console.
- Bill To/Ship To: Search on the member's account association in the form of a Bill To or Ship To account. A Bill To account handles payment for one or more Ship To accounts. Enter the exact association name and click Search.
- Family Circle/Account Association: Search on the member's family associations (such as a family of companies or stores) or account associations. Enter the exact Family Circle name and click Search.
After clicking Search, the information for all matching members is shown in the table on the page. Click anywhere in the row of a specific member record to open the details page for that member.
To clear the search results, click Clear Search.
Find a Member by Partner Linking ID
To search for a member, select Membership > Member Search from the top navigation menu. You can find members by partner linking ID by searching on one of the following criteria.
The display of partner linking IDs depends on your company's requirements and may look different in your Console.
Partner Linking ID: In the dropdown menu next to Partner Linking ID, select the relevant partner from the list. Enter the partner link ID in the search field and click Search.
After clicking Search, the information for all matching members is shown in the table on the page. Click anywhere in the row of a specific member record to open the details page for that member.
To clear the search results, click Clear Search.
