This feature is only available if you have access to ES Loyalty Boost™ (campaign automation), which is an optional add-on to ES Loyalty™. This feature is managed by your account's Technology Solutions Architect (TSA).

A seed list defines a specific group of members targeted to receive a campaign's communications or offers. It provides a way to test the campaign and verify it's running correctly before including a larger percentage — or all — of the loyalty program members.

The seed list lets you preview a visual sample of the offer targeting output for each cycle, allowing a high-level assessment of whether the output aligns with business goals and controls, as well as a spot check of offer copy and creative elements. Use the seed list feature in the Console to add or remove members from the seed list using their account ID.

View accounts in the existing seed list

1. Navigate to Promotions > Campaign Automation > Seed List.
2. On the Seed List page, scroll down to see the accounts in the list.

Add an account to the seed list

1. Navigate to Promotions > Campaign Automation > Seed List.
2. On the Seed List page, enter a unique account ID and, optionally, a label for this account within the seed list (for example, describing its function or any special characteristics).
3. Click +Add. The account is added to the seed list. Scroll down to verify.
4. Click Save to save your changes. The page refreshes and a message confirms that the revised list has been saved.

Delete an account from the seed list

1. Navigate to Promotions > Campaign Automation > Seed List.
2. On the Seed List page, find the account you want to remove.
3. Click the delete button (the garbage can icon) next to that account. The account is removed from the seed list. Scroll down to verify.
4. Click Save to save your changes. The page refreshes and a message confirms that the list has been updated.
